LA PORTE, Ind. (WLS) -- A man in northwest Indiana faces a felony charge Friday. Austin Shultz, 20, of Valparaiso, is accused of impersonating a police officer.
Shultz allegedly confronted three fishermen at the Kingsbury Fish and Wildlife Area in LaPorte County last weekend and told them he was a conservation officer.
Indiana Department of Natural Resources officers have not said what Shultz did after telling the fishermen he was a cop.
Shultz was arrested Thursday and charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer, a felony.
