CHICAGO (WLS) -- Registered nurses at a South Side hospital say under-staffing is leading to inadequate care for patients.

Nurses at Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center say they have several years' worth of forms documenting unsafe staffing, and claim it has gone ignored by hospital administration.

The nurses say they've repeatedly raised concerns, but no action has been taken. They are taking their complaints to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Jackson Park Hospital has not commented on the concerns.
