Hungry Hound's Steve Dolinsky, chef Rick Bayless, host James Beard panel discussion

CHICAGO (WLS) -- It's a big weekend for foodies in Chicago as the 2015 James Beard Awards are in town for the first time.

The awards celebrate the top chefs and food experts in the country.

Sunday, James Beard Award winner and ABC7's Hungry Hound Steve Dolinsky joined chef Rick Bayless to host a panel discussion with other award nominees at Kendall College.

Dolinsky and Bayless already won an award this year for their podcast, "The Feed."

The rest of the awards get handed out Monday night at the Lyric Opera House.
