Jazz Institute of Chicago holds 50th anniversary gala

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Jazz Institute of Chicago celebrated their 50th year on Wednesday night.

The institute held an anniversary gala in West Town.

The evening included performances from the Rajiv Halim Trio, the Jazz Links Youth Band, a silent auction and the Jazz Excellence Awards.

ABC7's own Samantha Chatman served as emcee.
