CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Rev. Jesse Jackson endorsed former Chicago Urban League CEO Andrea Zopp in her bid for the Democratic U.S. Senate nomination.
"I have known her for 30 years. A woman of personal integrity and impeccable academic credentials," Jackson said Sunday.
Jackson gathered with Zopp at her campaign headquarters in the Bronzeville neighborhood.
Zopp faces U.S. Rep. Tammy Duckworth and state Sen. Napolean Harris for the Democatic nomination.
Three debates are scheduled next month before the March 15 primary election.
