CHICAGO -- Local Chicagoans, Jim and Andrea Thome, stop by "Windy City LIVE" to chat about the White Sox and their charitable efforts.

Jim Thome, longtime pro-baseball player and former White Sox, talks about his role as the Special Assistant to the General Manager of the Sox.

Andrea Thome, former broadcast journalist turned novelist, talks about the inspiration behind her new book, "Walland."

"Walland" explores the idea of whether or not broken hearts can love again. The novel is set in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee.

All December book sales will benefit victims of the recent Tennessee fire that ravaged through Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas, killing 14 people and injuring over 175.

Jim and Andrea Thome will be at Chicago's SoxFest on January 27 through January 29. For more info about the SoxFest, please go to whitesox.com/soxfest.
