The government is apparently doing a better job of warning parents about products that could harm children, according to Kids in Danger findings.
The group's 2015 report card shows there were fewer recalls and injuries that year than in other years.
While it's encouraging news, the group still urges parents to stay informed about what they bring into their homes.
"While we're seeing the numbers of recalls going down ... it's still important for parents to use common sense and keep abreast of the recalls coming out," said Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan.
