Authorities run through emergency drill at Lake County school

WADSWORTH, Ill. (WLS) -- Two hundred emergency responders are participating in an active shooter drill at Newport Elementary School in Wadsworth, Ill.

No students are at the school for Friday's drill. Teachers and staff are practicing in the event of a shooting at the school. Districts outside of Lake County are also paying attention.
