Possible stabbing near North Side Red Line station

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are investigating a possible stabbing near the CTA Red Line Belmont station on Chicago's North Side.

Officers responded to a report of a man stabbed in the 3200-block of North Clark Street around 5 a.m. Monday.

The victim, who is in his 20s, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. His condition is unknown.

Police have not said whether the incident was a robbery or if the man was the intended target.

CTA service was not disrupted.
