WINNETKA, Ill. (WLS) -- A lawsuit accuses staff at New Trier High School in Winnetka of neglect after four cheerleaders were injured in separate incidents.
The suit targets the school, two coaches and a trainer in the cheerleading program.
It says that in fall of 2012 Amanda Schoerke suffered a concussion during practice, but coaches did not call for emergency services and instead sent the girl home.
It also claims coaches acted with "indifference" when three other students were injured under their watch. The school district has had no comment.
