Man killed in skydiving accident near Ottawa

A 68-year-old man died in a skydiving accident near Ottawa Friday, the LaSalle County Sheriff's Office said.

The LaSalle County Sheriff said they found the man's body in a field at 3215 E 169th Street just before 5 p.m. Friday, not too far from Skydive Chicago.

Officials are still looking into what happened and have not released the man's identity.
