Man, 29, stabbed on CTA bus

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 29-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and shoulder Monday evening after a dispute with another passenger on a CTA bus, police said.

The incident happened on bus No. 94 about 7:30 p.m. in the 7000-block of South Western Avenue in the Marquette Park neighborhood, police said.

The victim was hospitalized.

The offender tried to run, but was taken into police custody.
