Marina Towers considered for landmark status

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two of Chicago's most recognizable buildings may be named a landmark.

When the Chicago Commission on Landmarks meets Thursday it will consider a proposal to give landmark status to the Marina Towers.

The distinctive buildings were designed by Bertrand Goldberg and built in the early 1960's.
