Asst. coach fired after allegedly having sex with student

MOMENCE, Ill. (WLS) -- A south suburban assistant track coach has been fired after allegedly having sex with a student on school property.

Matt Kole worked at Momence High School. He was arrested earlier this week by Bradley police.

At this point, it's not clear what specific charge he's facing.

The superintendent says the student involved in the incident was not from Momence High School.

Parents were sent a note saying Kole had been fired and will no longer be allowed on school property or have contact with students.

Kole was arrested by Bradley police.
