Matthew Nelson, 10, located after walking out of Southeast Side school

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Matthew Nelson, 10, is safe with his family after he went missing from a charter school in the city's Southeast Side.

School officials said the boy, who had been upset in class, left LEARN Charter School around 1:55 p.m. Tuesday wearing only a hooded sweatshirt.

The school's principal and social worker went out looking for him and eventually found him about two miles away.
