McKinley Park stabbing wounds at least 3 people, Chicago Fire Department says

CHICAGO -- Three people were wounded in a stabbing Monday in McKinley Park.

In the 3300 block of S. Claremont at approximately 7:03 p.m., a 20-year-old female victim, a 59-year-old male victim, and a 49-year-old female victim were in the kitchen of a residence when a 22-year-old male offender approached with a knife and stabbed all three victims.

The 20-year-old victim sustained a laceration to the head and was transported to St. Anthony hospital in stable condition. The 59-year-old victim sustained multiple stab wounds to the body and was transported to Mount Sinai in critical condition. The 49-year-old victim sustained multiple stab wounds to the neck, face, body, and was also transported to Mount Sinai in critical condition.

The offender was placed into custody and transported to St. Anthony hospital for unknown injuries in stable condition. Area One Detectives are investigating.
