Metra Heritage Corridor train delayed due to vehicle collision

Metra's Heritage Corridor outbound train No. 921 is delayed 85 to 90 minutes Tuesday evening due to collision with vehicle.

According to a 6:42 p.m. post on Metra's website, the train -- scheduled to arrive in Joliet at 7:17 p.m. -- hit an unattended motor vehicle.

The collision occurred in the 3600-block of South Kedzie Avenue on the city's South Side.
