NEW YORK (WLS) -- In less than 24 hours, a beagle named Miss P went from being Best in Show to the toast of the town.

She took top honors Tuesday night at the Westminster Dog Show. The media followed Wednesday as she visited New York's Empire State Building and gobbled up steak at Sardi's.

Miss P is the grand niece of Uno, the first beagle to win Best in Show. He was bred in downstate Belleville, Ill., but now he's retired and living in Texas. Miss P. also plans to retire and have puppies.
