85-year-old man missing from Winnetka found safe

WINNETKA, Ill. (WLS) -- Police in north suburban Winnetka said an 85-year-old man last seen Thursday morning has been located.

His family said he had been missing since around 8:50 a.m. Thursday, and has a medical condition that can result in him becoming disoriented. Nichols was last seen driving his 2013 silver Volvo S60, possibly headed to Northbrook.

Police said Friday morning that he had been found safe, but did not release any further details.
