Mom, daughter reported missing from Albany Park found safe, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman and her 5-year-old daughter who were reported missing from the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side were found safe on Friday, police said.

Thuy Vuong, 34, and her daughter were reported missing from the 3500-block of West Wilson Avenue. They had last been seen July 25 driving a 2007 silver 4-door Lexus.

Chicago police said only that the pair had been found "safe and sound." No further information was available.
