Listen up drivers, if you're spending too much on gas, you might want to move to one of these areas.

According to GasBuddy.com, a website that tracks gas prices across the U.S., the town for cheapest gas in the United States is Humboldt, Tennessee, a small town with a population hovering around 10,000 and an average gas price of just $2.32 per gallon. But the state with the cheapest gas price as a whole was the midwestern enclave Missouri, averaging just $2.83 per gallon for its 6 million plus residents. The state with the highest average gas price looked to be Hawaii at $4.117 per gallon as of October 17.

Gas prices have historically decreased as the Fall months approach, and experts say this month's are due to the drop of the price in oil. Fears over the Ebola crisis may have influenced the price drop of oil as well, with fears of the economic impact of the virus causing the Dow Jones to drop from 16,315.93 to 161,143.05 from October 15-16.

GasBuddy.com showed the states with the cheapest gas to be the following.

1. Missouri

2. South Carolina

3. Tennessee

4. Oklahoma

5. Minnesota

6. Mississippi
