Montgomery stabbing deaths ruled murder-suicide, police say

MONTGOMERY, Ill. (WLS) -- Police in Montgomery, Ill., said a husband fatally stabbed his wife before taking his own life on Friday.

Nancy Buhle Weinstein, 55, and Kurte D. Jaeger, 48, were found deceased with multiple stab wounds in a home in the 2000-block of Kate Court around 9:30 p.m. Friday, police said.

Autopsies were performed on Sunday. Investigators said Jaeger stabbed Weinstein multiple times, then stabbed himself.

The victims were married and both lived in the home, police said.
