Cops: Boy, 3, covered in human bite marks, dies; mom in custody

MILWAUKEE -- A mother and her boyfriend are in custody after the mother's three-year-old child ended up dead.

The Milwaukee Police Department says the child suffered numerous physical injuries and died two days after being taken to a hospital.

WITI-TV reports the boy's body was covered with human bite marks. The exact cause of death has yet to be determined.

A news release from police say the child's mother, a 24-year-old woman, and the mother's boyfriend, a 27-year-old man, are both in custody and are expected to face charges after an autopsy.
