Motorcyclist killed in crash on OB Eisenhower near California

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A motorcyclist died in a crash on the outbound Eisenhower Expressway near California overnight.

Investigators closed the right lane and the California exit ramp for several hours early Monday morning.

Illinois State Police said a male rider crashed into the median between the exit ramp and the expressway. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died. He has not been identified.

The right lane and the California exit ramp reopened around 5:30 a.m.
