MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (WLS) -- A portion of the Indiana Dunes that has been closed for the past two years will soon re-open to the public for tours.
Mount Baldy has been closed since a boy got trapped under the sand for more than three hours after a sinkhole developed in July 2013. He was eventually rescued.
Rangers will lead hikers on a trail on Mount Baldy for an hour-long tour.
The tours will be held on Fridays and Sundays starting June 5.
