Funeral held for 7-month-old Barrington girl allegedly starved to death by parents

BARRINGTON, Ill. (WLS) -- A community came together to bury a 7-month-old girl who was allegedly starved to death by her parents.

A non-profit group "Rest in His Arms" made the arrangements for Myra Edwards. Her funeral took place Thursday at St. Anne Church in Barrington.

Police and firefighters led the funeral procession with officers acting as pallbearers. The public was invited to attend the service. Edwards' parents are charged in her death.
