Naperville named 'safest city in United States'

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Naperville has been named homes.com's safest city in the United States.

Homes.com released its top-10 list earlier this month.The real estate website bases its rankings on reported crimes.

Naperville is followed by Irvine, California and Thousand Oaks, California.

Provo, Utah and Round Rock, Texas were fourth and fifth, respectively.
