Chicago man charged with stealing $50K from professional gambler

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- A Chicago man suspected of stealing $50,000 from a professional gambler appeared in court on Tuesday.

Prosecutors say Robert Chencinski stole the money after crashing into a man Monday in west suburban Naperville.

Police arrested Chencinski after a short chase. They're still looking for his alleged accomplice.

A judge set Chencinski's bond at $300,000.
