DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- Officials in west suburban Downers Grove said sirens did not sound when a tornado hit the village last week because of a power supply failure.

The National Weather Service said the tornado was an EF-0 and stayed on the ground for about a quarter mile.

The worst damage reported was a tree that fell onto a parked car.
