Champagne is the traditional drink used to toast for New Year's, but if you want to try something new, you have lots of new options.
Egor Polonskiy, from Chicago's Untitled Supper Club, visited ABC7 to show off a few new cocktail creations perfect for your New Year's celebrations.
RECIPES
Cocktail name: St-Germain Cocktail
Ingredients:
2 parts Martini Prosecco
1 parts St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
Sparkling Water
Method: Fill a tall Collins glass with ice. Add Martini Prosecco, then St-Germain, then sparkling water. Stir completely and garnish with a lemon twist.
Cocktail name: Cranberry Gin Sparkler
Ingredients:
1 ounce Bombay Sapphire Gin
ounce Lemon Juice
ounce Cranberry Juniper Syrup
4 ounces Martini Prosecco
Method: In a shaker, combine ice with all ingredients except the prosecco. Shake well. Serve in a champagne flute and top with Martini Prosecco. Garnish with cranberries.
Cocktail name: The Resolution
Ingredients:
1 ounces Strawberry infused Cocchi Americano
Barspoon Absinthe
ounce Combier Rose Liqueur
ounce Lemon Juice
5-6 Mint Leaves
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Top with Martini Prosecco
Method: In a shaker, combine ice with all ingredients except the prosecco. Shake well. Serve in a champagne flute and top with Martini Prosecco. Garnish with fresh blackberries.
