Report: Twitter layoffs could come this week

NEW YORK (WLS) -- Twitter's new chief executive could start laying off workers this Tuesday, according to the New York Times.

The newspaper says that Jack Dorsey's first big plan will be a series of cost-cutting moves that include layoffs.

Twitter has more than 4,100 employees in more than 35 offices.

There is no word on how many workers would be let go.
