Walmart holds first holiday sale on Sunday

Walmart is jump-starting the holiday sales season by holding its first holiday sale on Sunday - the day after Halloween.

Thousands of items, including electronics and toys, will be marked down.

Walmart will roll out about 15 percent more price cuts on its website compared to last holiday season, company officials said.

The number of price rollbacks in store will be about the same as last year.
