Teen with autism reported missing in Palatine found

PALATINE, Ill. (WLS) -- Authorities have found a teen with autism who went missing in Palatine.

David Quattrochi, 14, disappeared Wednesday afternoon from Little City, a social services agency in Palatine.

David is non-verbal and was last seen wearing a gray shirt with blue stripes and blue jeans. He was not wearing a coat.

The Cook County Sheriff's Department said David was located at approximately 7:30 a.m. Thursday in nearby Hoffman Estates. He was responsive and was taken by Hoffman Estates Fire Department to a local hospital for an evaluation.
