KATY, TX -- A woman who had just moved to the Katy area is in awe of a stranger's kindness this holiday season.

Jennifer Tantoco, whose family had recently moved here from Arizona, says she was inside the Target store on Westheimer Parkway in the Cinco Ranch area to get a prescription filled. It was for Jennifer's 15-month-old son, who was suffering from a painful eye infection.

According to Jennifer, the family was on a new insurance plan and to meet the deductible, the pharmacist told them it would be $138.

Jennifer said she couldn't pay it at the time and that's when someone overheard and said he would cover the cost. Jennifer says she told him no, but that he insisted.

"I was in tears thanking him," Jennifer wrote on Facebook. "He said, 'Merry Christmas' and 'Welcome to Katy.'"

Jennifer says she didn't get a chance to get a photo of him, but wants him to be recognized for his random act of kindness. She says he's a tall man and his name is 'Wes.'

"My little guy will rest comfortably tonight," Jennifer wrote.

Jennifer posted the story on the Cinco Ranch community Facebook page, where she received well over 1,000 likes, and hundreds of comments.

So if you know a tall, kind man named Wes in the Cinco Ranch area, make sure to thank him!
