Children at Loyola Medical Center get Christmas surprise

MAYWOOD, Ill. (WLS) -- Christmas came a few days early as some young patients at Loyola University Medical Center got a surprise toy delivery Tuesday.

The Broadview police and fire departments visited the pediatric patients at the hospital. The officers and firefighters were joined by Santa Claus and his helpers, passing out toys to children who will be spending Christmas in the hospital.

The police and fire departments hold their toy delivery every year.
