CICERO, Ill. (WLS) -- The Cicero Town Hall building sustained extensive damage Saturday morning when a pick-up truck crashed into it, officials said.

At about 9:30 a.m. Saturday, a Dodge Pickup truck ran a red light at Cermak Road and 50th Avenue, slamming into another vehicle and then into a traffic light. The truck then crashed into the corner of the entrance at the town hall, according to a town spokesman.

No serious injuries were reported.

Town officials have not determined how much the damage will cost.

The 57-year-old driver of the pickup truck was charged with failure to stop at a red light, failure to yield to oncoming traffic, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and cited for damage caused to public property including the traffic light and the Cicero Town Hall building, according to a city spokesman.
