Morgan Park-Simeon basketball game back on

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The big game between Chicago high school basketball rivals Morgan Park and Simeon is back on.

Morgan Park will host Simeon on Jan. 28.

Last weekend's matchup was postponed after Morgan Park complained about the game being moved to a larger gym at a different high school. The game was moved because Morgan Park's gym was deemed too small to host the expected crowd.

The players' parents had threatened to boycott the game because they want Chicago Public Schools to invest in a better gym, so that their sons can face their rivals at home, as well as other improvements for the school.

"As parents, we're interested in putting our investment into the school and our students," said parent Maurice Bins.
