Homeowner fatally shot in South Side doorway

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating after a man is shot and killed in the front doorway of his home on the South Side.

Police say the 31-year-old answered the front door and was shot by two men Monday morning in the Washington Heights neighborhood in the 9000-block of South May.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
