Police investigate gunfire on I-80/94 near Gary

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- Indiana State Police are investigating a shooting on eastbound I-80/94 near Gary.

The shooting, which took place Jan. 30 near Grant Street, resulted in a bullet going through a driver's car door, police said. No one was injured.

The offending vehicle is described as a silver or grey Dodge or Chrysler with Illinois plates, police said. No other information has been released.
