Lake Villa teachers, district reach tentative agreement

LAKE VILLA, Ill. (WLS) -- The Lake Villa school district has reached a tentative contract agreement with the local teachers union.

The union had threatened a strike that could have started as early as Monday.

The district's teachers are expected to approve the agreement in the next few weeks.
