Cyclist robbed on 606 Trail in Humboldt Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was robbed while riding his bike on Chicago's 606 Trail in Humboldt Park Friday night.

Police say at 11:30 p.m. in the 3200-block of W. Bloomingdale, a 25-year-old man was cycling on the 606 Trail when he was approached by four assailants who forced him to stop his bike. Police say they battered the man, taking his cell phone, wallet and bike before fleeing.

The victim was not seriously injured. The robbers are described as black, between 16-21 years old, between 5'7"-6'2"; and 160-180 lbs. No one is in custody.
