CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are asking the public to take a close look at a surveillance photo from a deadly hit-and-run in Chicago's Avondale neighborhood.

Officers hope someone recognizes the silver SUV, possibly a Jeep Cherokee, that struck and killed 34-year-old Chris Sanchez early Sunday morning at Belmont and Milwaukee.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the driver. Sanchez's family said an anonymous donor is offering an additional reward.

Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run should call the Major Accident investigation Unit at 312-745-4521.
