BMO Harris Bank branch robbed in Waukegan

WAUKEGAN, Ill. -- A BMO Harris Bank branch was robbed Tuesday afternoon in north suburban Waukegan.

Officers responded to a bank alarm at 31113 N. Lewis Ave. at 1:15 p.m., according to Waukegan police.

The suspect was described as a 6-foot tall black male, police said. He was last seen running away from the bank. He did not display or mention a weapon. The amount of cash taken was not released.
