INDIANAPOLIS (WLS) -- An Indiana school principal who gave her life for her students was honored Tuesday.

Susan Jordan was in front of a parked school bus when it started rolling forward. She was able to push students out of the way before the bus crushed her.

An investigation found the driver failed to put on the parking brake.

Indiana lawmakers passed a resolution Tuesday to honor Jordan's memory.
