19-year-old man fatally shot in Wicker Park

CHICAGO -- A man was shot to death in the Wicker Park neighborhood Wednesday evening.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the head in the 1200 block of North Milwaukee Avenue at 6:05 p.m., police said.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed the death, but did not release further information Wednesday night pending family notification.
