CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two window washers were rescued Saturday afternoon from a building in the Loop after their scaffolding came loose, officials said.

The crew was washing windows on a high-rise building at Madison and Wabash -- not far from the St. Patrick's Day parade.

The Chicago Fire Department rescued the men from between the 15th and 17th floors by opening a window and pulling them to safety.

Both men were wearing harnesses, so not in danger of falling.
