Person arrested in Calumet City baby's death from scalding bath

CALUMET CITY, Ill. (WLS) -- A person is in custody in connection with a 1-year-old's death from a scalding bath.

Noah Rudder was found unresponsive inside a home on the 1600-block of Aster in Calumet City Wednesday night.

Police said the boy was placed in the hot water from the waist down, suffering serious burns.

He died at a nearby hospital.
