Waukegan police search for man who robbed Target store

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are asking for help finding a suspect who robbed a Target store in north suburban Waukegan.

Investigators released surveillance images of the man they say ordered a cashier to hand over money Saturday night. Police said the man had his hand in his pocket and implied he was armed.

Police said the suspect was wearing a black jacket, white hoodie, tan pants, and a Bears winter hat.

Investigators said the man was seen fleeing the store on Lewis Avenue in a silver car. Police believe there was a driver in the vehicle waiting for the suspect.
