Teen girl attacked while getting out of car in Hinsdale

HINSDALE, Ill. (WLS) -- Police in west suburban Hinsdale are looking for a man who assaulted a girl as she was getting out of her car Monday afternoon.

Police say an unknown man struck the teen and knocked her to the ground just before 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Clay and Hinsdale Ave. She was treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police are asking residents to check home-video surveillance systems to help find the suspect.
