Police seek hit-and-run driver who struck woman, dog on South Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are looking for the driver who hit and seriously injured a woman as she walked her dog on the South Side.

A community alert has been issued showing the dark-colored four-door car just before it hit the woman and her dog as they crossed Damen at 59th Street.

According to police, the driver sped south on Damen after hitting them around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
